We are excited to announce that the 2020 (AKIRP) will be delivered online to continue our goal of increasing the health research capacity of Alaska Native/American Indian individuals and communities through cross-cultural research education.

This year, AKIRP will be delivered as an online seminar series of daily 2.5-hour live sessions. Each online session will feature facilitated audio-video content, presentations and conversations. There is no cost the to seminar series.

Week 2 : Research Ethics Course |M A Y 1 1 - 1 5

Week 3 : Introductory Research Course| M A Y 1 8 - 2 2

Monday - Friday (start and end time for different time zones)

  • 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM ALASKA TIME
  • 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM PST
  • 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM MT
  • 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM EST

Participants will receive login information and links to test their computer and become acquainted with Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. Participants will also have access to recorded sessions, reference materials, and more following the program.
